This USP 0 violet suture is supplied in a 27 inch (68 cm) length and is armed with a single-armed FSL needle. The FSL reverse cutting slim needle is designed for controlled penetration of skin with reduced tissue trauma, supporting accurate placement and refined handling during cutaneous and soft tissue closure.
VICRYL PLUS sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in minimal tissue reaction and predictable tensile strength retention during early wound healing. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional hospital and surgical environments.
