This USP 1 suture is supplied in blue for enhanced visibility and fitted with a DS 40 reverse cutting needle (40 mm) on a 90 cm strand, suitable for controlled penetration in skin and firmer soft tissue.
Luxylene polypropylene sutures are intended for soft tissue approximation and ligation where long-term wound support is required and absorption is not desired.
