Ethicon VICRYL RAPIDE is a sterile synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and engineered for rapid absorption and short-term tensile strength retention.

The braided construction provides excellent handling characteristics and reliable knot security, making it suitable for superficial soft tissue approximation where extended wound support is not required.

This USP 6-0 undyed variant measures 70 cm in length and is supplied with an 11 mm 3/8 circle reverse cutting prime needle, designed for precise penetration through very delicate skin and fine tissue while minimising trauma.

VICRYL RAPIDE is formulated to lose tensile strength more rapidly than standard VICRYL sutures, making it ideal for minor surgical procedures and very fine skin closure.

Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional surgical environments.
