Ethicon MONOCRYL Plus is an antibacterial absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25 and coated with triclosan (Plus Technology) to inhibit bacterial colonisation along the suture surface.

This USP 0 violet variant measures 90 cm in length and is supplied with a 36 mm 1/2 circle tapercut needle, combining a tapered body with a cutting tip for controlled penetration through dense or fibrous tissue.

MONOCRYL Plus delivers high initial tensile strength, smooth tissue passage and predictable absorption. The monofilament structure reduces tissue drag and supports secure wound edge approximation.

The triclosan coating helps reduce the risk of surgical site infection by inhibiting bacterial colonisation on the suture material.

Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional surgical environments.
