Ethicon COATED VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and coated to enhance handling, knot security and smooth tissue glide during soft tissue approximation procedures.

This USP 2-0 undyed suture is supplied in a 70 cm (27 inch) length and is armed with a single-armed PS PRIME MP taper point needle measuring 24 mm with a 3/8 circle curvature, designed to provide smooth, atraumatic penetration for precise soft tissue closure.

COATED VICRYL sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in minimal tissue reaction and predictable tensile strength retention during early wound healing. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional hospital and clinical environments.
